Subdued expressions were glazed across Chase & Krista's faces as they pulled up at our rendezvous spot. Chase had some bad news that the fog had rolled in to our predetermined shooting location forcing us to call a bit of an audible. Chase and Krista are two rad people with an inspiring bit of optimism and ones not easily brought down by a smattering of adversity. We made a quick change of plans and at a blink of an eye, their subduedness gave way to beaming smiles as they remembered what this was all about. Their commitment and undeniable affection for one another shone through even amidst the frigid December temps and deep early season snowfall to capture a few frames of the happily engaged couple.
With a few shots in the bag, we pushed on down the Valley through the dense fog veil that wrapped much of the lower reaches of Bellevue on towards Silver Creek. It was if it was meant to be as we made the final approach to the very same spot that Chase got down on one knee back in September and asked Krista to marry him. Swans and mallards echoed off in the distance as we snapped a few frames just as the sun slipped beyond the horizon.
Congrats to you two! Thanks for having me along to shoot your Sun Valley & Silver Creek engagement photos. Super excited for the wedding!
